Back in 2017, the Warriors, fresh off of a championship, bought the 38th pick in the draft from the Chicago Bulls in order to select Jordan Bell. At the time, the move was evidence that the franchise was "light years ahead" of the rest of the league.

Though Jordan Bell did not turn out to be the next Draymond, he is a veteran big man with experience ranging from playing in the Finals to playing in China. Barring an unforeseen trade, Bell has little hope of making a Pacers roster already loaded with centers. Therefore, he will likely return to playing with the Mad Ants when camp concludes.

The Mad Ants previously traded for him in January of 2022. During that stint, Bell played in 21 games for the squad, averaging 13.5 points and 10.6 rebounds per game.
