The series is now a best of three. That means the Pacers need to win two games to advance. It also means they have to win at least one on the road. Tonight would be a great time to make that happen.
The Knicks are hurting. In Game 4, they did not have the same energy as the Pacers. That lack of competitiveness led them to hold a players-only meeting. When that happens you can expect two things: 1) the Knicks are going to come out swinging tonight; 2) if things don't go their way, frustration is going to become a problem.
Best case scenario is the Pacers make shots early and often and force the Knicks to face their demons. More than likely, they'll get good looks. That's just what they do.
The Pacers are attempting 31.0 wide open shots per game in the playoffs.

The gap between IND and the 2nd most wide-open FGA/g among remaining teams (OKC—21.6) is greater than the gap between 2nd & last (BOS—14.4)

As always, how well the Pacers play will come down to whether those shots go in and how much resistance they offer on defense. In Game 4, the Pacers did well in both categories. If there was ever a time to string together two strong games in a row, now is it.
Injuries
Knicks have already ruled out forward OG Anunoby (left hamstring) for Game 5 on Tuesday.
— Scott Agness (@ScottAgness) May 13, 2024
Haliburton is on the injury report for the eighth straight game. Nesmith is no longer on it.
Thibodeau says Jalen Brunson and Isaiah Hartenstein are good to go. Says O.G. Anunoby is "a little bit better" but won't add any more detail.
— Dustin Dopirak (@DustinDopirak) May 14, 2024
Thibodeau said Anunoby is doing "light work on the court now." Last time he said he was just doing rehab in a swimming pool.

I'm not going to lie, it really sucks that this game is on at the exact same time as a Game 5 in MSG. But on the bright side, two Indiana pro-basketball teams are on national television at the same damn time. Take a gander at the sky and tell me you don't see pigs flying.
New Court Alert
The Pacers aren't the only ones with a fresh coat of paint on the hardwood this season. The Fever just unveiled their new design and, as far as courts go, I think it's pretty cool.

Injuries
Christie Sides says they’re waiting to see how Kelsey Mitchell handles warmup before they make a final decision on her availability for tonight.
— Chloe Peterson (@chloepeterson67) May 14, 2024
If Mitchell can’t go, I would think they put Erica Wheeler in the starting lineup.
