The Pacers completed a long-expected move in re-signing Kendall Brown to a Two-Way contract. With Brown occupying the final open roster spot, the Pacers are now at the roster limit of 18 players.

Keeping Brown in the fold makes sense. The Pacers were quite high on him in last year's draft, trading a 2026 second-round pick and cash considerations to bring him to Indy.

Unfortunately, his rookie season was marred by injuries. He only appeared in six games for the Pacers due to a stress reaction in his right tibia that popped up in early December. While he did return to action for 10 games with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, the stress reaction reappeared and he elected to have surgery, thus ending his season in February. He averaged about 10 points and five rebounds per game in 16 G League appearances.

When the team signed Isaiah Wong and Oscar Tshiebwe to Two-Way deals before Brown it raised some eyebrows. The assumption was that the Pacers wanted to see Brown prove his health in Summer League before committing to a contract. Brown did just that. Though he looked raw, his defensive energy was undeniable and he lead the team in blocks and steals. Offensively, let's just say he has plenty of room to grow. Though he wasn't an efficient finisher, his handle allowed him to get to spots in the paint. If he can become more polished at putting the ball in the hole, he'll be a valuable weapon for the team.

Now that the Pacers have a "complete" roster, the only thing left to do is sign three Exhibit-10 players to participate in training camp and then play for the team-formerly-known-as-the-Mad-Ants.
