After dropping Game 3 of the pre-season to the Memphis Grizzlies, the Blue and Gold will close out the portion of the season that doesn't count against the Hornets at home tonight.

Tyrese Haliburton, Pascal Siakam, and Aaron Nesmith are back in the lineup tonight after sitting out on Monday. While the starting group will be back to its normal five, the bench will be without its presumptive front court. Isaiah Jackson and Obi Toppin are both out, in addition to rookie Johnny Furphy who the team had hoped would be able to make his season debut tonight.

Elsewhere, the Pacers waived Kendall Brown this week. It's sad to see him fail to live up to his promise with the team but such is life in the NBA. The youngster still has plenty of raw skill, so hopefully he makes the team regret cutting him in the long run.

The release of Brown likely means that Cole Swider will make the team to start the year but there's always the possibility that the Front Office chooses to keep some roster flexibility.
