It's draft day and the hot stove league is full effect. We've got big trades, max contracts, all the intrigue you could ask for. According to Windy, the Pacers are right in the mix.

While the Pacers haven't made a big move as of yet, they have tendered a QO to Obi Toppin making him an RFA.

New Draft Format

Remember the draft now takes place over two days, so tonight is only the first round. Will it be quiet for the Pacers, who are without any first round picks this year after the Siakam trade?

Before you make your prediction, I'll give you a bit of skin in the game.

Draft Prediction Competition

We did one of these last year and it was fun so let's do it again. This year the prize will be a T-Shirt from iPacers's store which has a collection of shirts from Pacers creators including C. Coop (who made a few of my personal favorites).

To enter the competition, post a comment with your predictions on the following questions about the 2024 NBA Draft. Only one entry per person is allowed, so make sure you indicate in the comment that it's your official entry.

🎱
THE QUESTIONS
1. Will the Pacers make any selections in the '24 NBA Draft? If so, how many?
2. Who will be the Pacers first selection in the '24 NBA Draft? Will he be selected with the 36th pick?
3. Will the Pacers select a player with the 49th pick? If so, who?
4. Will the Pacers select a player with the 50th pick? If so, who?
5. Will the Pacers make a trade into the first round? If so, who will they take?
6. How many trades will the Pacers be a part of during the '24 NBA Draft?
7. How many players will the Pacers select that were born outside of the United States?
8. Will the Pacers select a player that did not play for an NCAA program last year?

Scoring Rules

  • Questions 1-5 are two part questions, each part being worth one point for a maximum of two points.
  • Questions 6-8 are worth one point each.
  • For the purposes of this competition, I will treat draft day trades reported by Woj, Shams, or otherwise generally accepted by credible news organizations as having happened on draft day, even if the trade has not been officially executed with the League Office.
  • If a pick is reported to be traded on draft day consistent with the rule above, the team that is reported to own the draft rights to the player taken with that pick, at the close of the second round, will be considered the team that did the selecting, regardless of which team's logo is displayed when the player walks to the podium.
  • In the event of a tie, a winner will be chosen via random selection.

How to Watch

Tonight's festivities begin at 8:00 PM EST on ESPN and ABC.
