I have another article germinating but I don't think I'll finish it tonight and I'd be remiss if I didn't post something on the day Cam Whitmore came to town.
It's exciting news for a few reasons. First, we're finally working out players who we might select at #7. Second, Whitmore is a huge talent. I wrote a bit about Cam already so I won't do a breakdown here, but I'd be thrilled if we walked away with him on draft night.
He possesses immense physical tools that belie the fact he's one of the youngest players in the draft. Moreover, as he mentioned in his interviews, his pace will fit in with the way we play – especially if he becomes consistent from three. After hearing him speak, I can't help but think he'd be a culture fit as well.
