What a run this has been. What an unbelievable run.

In Game 1, the Pacers delivered their signature gut-punch: a Tyrese Haliburton buzzer-beater after their opponents seemed to have the game wrapped up. Haliburton's 21-foot pull up over Cason Wallace snatched a 111‑110 road win from Oklahoma City with just 0.3 seconds left. Those decimal points accounted for the entire time the Pacers spent in the lead but they were all that mattered and the Pacers now possess a 1-0 lead in the series.

For as euphoric as the last few days have been, the Pacers can't lose sight of the bigger prize. Oklahoma City was largely successful in executing their game-plan on Thursday. They forced the Pacers into a record 19 first-half turnovers and had the visitors seeing ghosts.

Indiana was lucky that the Thunder were only able to convert nine points off of those 19 turnovers, which allowed Indy to stick within striking distance. Oklahoma City's sub-40% shooting percentage is not something the Pacers can count on every night, so they'll have to be better going forward.

But the good news is that for as much as the Pacers struggled with turnovers in the first-half, they largely righted the ship in the second, only committing five more before the final whistle. Both teams have excellent coaching staffs and it seems like this series will be a battle of adjustments. Don't expect any two halves to look alike, let alone any two games.

The Thunder will be out for blood tonight to avenge their let down in Game 1. Even so, I'm hopeful Game 2 will look like a dominant Pacers victory.
