After a day's rest the Summer Pacers are ready to suit up again. Today, they're taking on the Summer Magic, which in addition to sounding like a vacation fling, are a talented young group of players.

The Magic are headlined by the sixth overall pick Anthony Black and eleventh overall pick Jett Howard. Black had a strong debut, scoring 17 points on 7-10 shooting, while chipping in five rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Howard, on the other hand, struggled to make shots. He shot 3-13 total, while only 2-7 from three point range. However, he showed a bit of playmaking prowess, contributing four assists.

In addition to Howard, the Magic start two other Michigan Wolverines in Caleb Houstan and D.J. Wilson. Houstan is going into his second year in the NBA after being a 5-star recruit out of high school. He only scored 12 points on 12 shots in the first game, so he'll be looking to bounce back today.

That goes for the entire team, after they dropped their opener to the Detroit Pistons by a score of 89-78. Let's hope the Pacers don't let that happen.
