The Pacers will wrap up the pre-season with a two game home stand, which begins tonight against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Between Zach Edey, Desmond Bane, Jaren Jackson, Jr., Jake LaRavia, and Jon Konchar, the visitors should feel right at home in the Hoosier state.

The Pacers are resting quite a few core players so expect another night of funky lineups and plenty of opportunities for players fighting for a spot in the rotation to prove themselves.

With Tyrese out, Nembhard will slide over and pick up where he left off in the playoffs, running the first unit offense. Mathurin, Walker, and Toppin will all fill in at their respective positions to round out the starting five.

It's unfortunate that Johnny Furphy sustained ankle injuries in camp because it would have been nice to see him get some run with the Pacers before he's sent down to the Mad Ants. Still, we should expect to see plenty from the other rookies.

In the game against the Cavs, the front court of Wiseman and Freeman put in some active, physical shifts and I'm intrigued to see how they fare tonight. If that pairing gets much run during the regular season then things have likely hit a skid for a team that some of you expect to win over 55 games**. Still, getting pumped about random bench pairings is kind of the whole point of a basketball blog, so let me live.
