​The 2025 NBA Play-In Tournament is in full swing, with the first two games setting the stage for an exciting postseason. Last night, the Orlando Magic and Golden State Warriors secured their spots in the playoffs with impressive victories.​

Recap of Last Night's Games:

  • Orlando Magic 120, Atlanta Hawks 95: The Magic dominated the Hawks, led by Cole Anthony's 26 points, including 13 in a pivotal fourth-quarter run. Wendell Carter Jr. added 19 points, and rookie Anthony Black contributed 16 off the bench. Orlando's reserves outscored Atlanta's bench 57-30, propelling the Magic into the playoffs as the seventh seed, where they will face the second-seeded Boston Celtics.
  • Golden State Warriors 121, Memphis Grizzlies 116: The Warriors secured the seventh seed in the Western Conference playoffs after a hard-fought win over the Grizzlies. Stephen Curry led the charge with 40 points, including a few vintage three-pointers in the final minutes. Jimmy Butler also contributed significantly with 38 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists. Golden State will now face the Houston Rockets in the first round. ​

The winners of Friday's games will claim the eighth and final playoff spots in their respective conferences, setting up first-round matchups against the top-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers in the East and Oklahoma City Thunder in the West.​
