Well, it’s do or die. Win or go home.
I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that Indy has had a lot of luck in just such situations this year. Still, it’s been a tough week in Pacerstown and I wouldn’t blame you for feeling like our golden carriage is about to turn into a Halloween decoration.
The Oklahoma City Thunder have simply outclassed the Pacers over the last game-and-a-half of basketball. They’ve forced us into uncharacteristic turnovers and have our guys overthinking.
The team has seemed worn down since the end of Game 4. To make matters worse, Tyrese Haliburton, has suffered yet another lower leg injury and his availability, let alone his effectiveness, has been an open question.
Whatever happens, I know the home crowd will rally around one of the best teams they’ve had to root for in recent memory. These guys deserve every bit of energy and positivity we have, regardless if you’re in the building tonight or not.
Win or lose, LFG!
