The Pacers are in for a tough one tonight as they take on the Nuggets. One of the uplifting things about the team of late has been the emergence of Jay Huff, who is proving himself to be an excellent shot blocker and a capable shooter. Nevertheless, he's in for a tough assignment tonight when he matches up with, arguably, the best player in the league in Nikola Jokic.
Around Jokic's heliocentricity, the Nuggets have coalesced into the best offense in the league.

It's going to be hard for the Pacers to get stops tonight unless Denver is simply off. However, there is an opportunity for the home team to keep pace by getting buckets of their own. As Denver coach David Adelman pointed out in his pre-game presser, the Nuggets have been very poor defensively of late.
Adelman notes that they're posting a 130 plus offensive rating over the last five games and they're 2-3. "That is insane." Just not getting consistent enough effort on defense.

Let's hope the boys can make the nets sing tonight.
Injuries
Furphy is back for the Pacers. I know we're all eager to see him develop his game.
Carlisle on Furphy: "Adds depth. Adds a different kind of player than we have. He's a great runner, he's a great rebounder, he's a terrific finisher. He's a very good defensive player, very solid. All element of his skillset are improving. He just needs to be on the floor." https://t.co/RV3eOmpihA

Aaron Gordon, Christian Braun, and Julian Strawther are out for the Nuggets. Jamal Murray is probable.
David Adelman: Jamal Murray is still TBD pending on-court warmups. "The hope is he's going to play."
