The Pacers moved to 3-16 on the year with a confident win over the Washington Wizards. This may be a no good, very bad season for the Blue & Gold, but at least they aren't the worst team in the league.
Due to their flaming out of the NBA Cup, the Pacers have games against those same Wizards and the 76ers added to the schedule.

In some positive news, while Jay Huff has not shot the ball (or been able to play at the Pacers preferred pace) quite the way we hoped when he was signed, he has been an excellent shot blocker.

The Bulls
The Pacers take on Chicago this evening at Gainbridge. After a red hot start, the Bulls are .500 on the year at 9-9. Over the last two weeks they are 3-4 and playing atrocious defense. Seeing as the both teams are playing on the second night of a back-to-back, I think the Pacers have a real shot at getting their first consecutive wins of the season.

Injuries
Nembhard is back after a one-game absence.
Andrew Nembhard (right quad contusion) is available for tonight's game against the Bulls, per Coach Carlisle.

Furphy practiced with the Boom today and is nearing his return to the lineup.
Carlisle on Furphy’s time with the Boom: “He practiced with them. My understanding is that it went well.”

He’s not certain if Furphy will play a G League game or not as he gets up to speed. No exact timetable but he’s getting closer.
The Bulls are missing a few key players, including Coby White who has been ruled out.
Andrew Nembhard is questionable (quad) for Pacers-Bulls tonight while the same other 6 remain out. Bulls won’t have Zach Collins, Noa Essengue, Isaac Okoro, Jalen Smith, or Dalen Terry. Coby White questionable.

Both teams on a back to back.
