The Pacers finally got over the hump with Pascal Siakam in the lineup. They beat the brakes off the Sixers, getting out to an early lead and never looking back. The Pacers were clicking offensively, getting stops defensively, and cleaning the glass. The only thing that kept Philly in the game was a glaring free throw discrepancy in the Sixers' favor.

Fittingly, Pascal Siakam led the way with his 6th career triple double.

Though he joined the team during a particularly rough stretch of the schedule – he admitted that he hasn't gotten much sleep since the trade and wasn't able to practice until after his third game – he's been nothing but positive about the change. In his post game interview, he indicated that he's taking a long term approach, hoping to make Indy his home for the foreseeable future.

In addition to Siakam, Myles Turner continued to prove the personal growth we've seen over the past two years is real. In the past, Joel Embiid was the monster hiding under Turner's bed. A matchup with Philly was a guaranteed down game for the Pacers' big man. However, last night he played admirable defense (Embiid still broke 30 but, come on, it's Embiid), stayed out of foul trouble, and contributed in a big way offensively. His outside shooting was a nice counter to Pascal's interior presence, a combination Siakam said he's been looking for his entire career.

Nembhard has had an up and down season but delivered a solid performance in Tyrese Haliburton's stead last night. His tough perimeter defense created problems for Sixers guard Tyrese Maxey, who went 7-17 from the floor and 1-8 from deep. Offensively, Nembhard kept the Pacers offense humming with a nice blend of scoring and playmaking.

Phoenix

Tonight the Pacers have a chance to avenge their loss to Phoenix from three games ago. In that matchup, the Pacers shot poorly but created enough turnovers and second chance opportunities to have a chance to steal the game in the fourth quarter.

While the Pacers made their threes, they simply weren't efficient enough inside the paint to beat the star heavy Suns. That game was the final contest of a grueling Western Conference road trip. Hopefully tonight some home cooking helps the boys find the bottom of the net at a more efficient clip.
