The Pacers have won three of their last four, including an impressive victory over their longtime rivals the New York Knicks in Madison Square Garden last time out. 2024 has not been particularly fun as a Pacers fan but the team was able to tread water during the worst of it and it feels like the tide is turning in our favor.

The next three games for the Pacers are all immensely winnable and the team has an opportunity to gain momentum going into the final stretch of the season. Tonight, we face off with a Charlotte Hornets team that would be familiar if they hadn't totally remade their roster at the deadline.

The Hornets added five new players at the deadline – Vasilije Micic, Grant Williams, Tre Mann, Davis Bertans and Seth Curry – all of whom figure to be a part of Charlotte's rotation. Though he may be the least well known of the bunch, Vasilije Micic is someone to keep an eye on tonight. He's a veteran point guard who led a very successful European career before joining the NBA this season at the age of 30. He didn't get much burn on a talented OKC team but now that he's with the Hornets he'll have minutes to prove himself. In his first game with Charlotte, he posted 18 points and nine assists, helping the Hornets beat the Grizzlies and snap a 10-game losing streak.

With all the new players, the Hornets are still trying to get to know each other. There's no excuse for Indiana to drop this game, especially with Tyrese Haliburton playing fourth quarters and looking like his old self.
