No rest for the weary. We're back at it tonight at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, a quick turnaround after dismantling Atlanta in every facet of the game. Yesterday the Pacers put together one of their most complete performances of the season. The offense was red hot and Atlanta shot poorly, leading to a 150-116 drubbing. The stats below tell the story (at least up until 7 mins left in the 4th quarter, at which point Cleaning the Glass determined the game was in garbage time and stopped counting).

As impressive as the Pacers were last night – and have been throughout this six game win streak – there's reason for concern. Boston is a juggernaut. They have the best points per possession differential in the league on the back of the number two ranked offense and defense. Over the past two weeks they are 6-1 and beating teams by an average of 17 points per game.

More than that, the last time these two teams faced off the Pacers sent the Celtics packing from the IST. They know the Pacers are riding high. They saw how we embarrassed Milwaukee twice in a row this week. I guarantee you the Celtics have this series circled on their calendar.

If the Pacers are going to win, they need to bring their A-game.

Injuries

Luckily the injuries that Nesmith and Jalen Smith suffered last night won't keep them out of the lineup. However, both Bruce Brown and Andrew Nembhard will be unavailable to check Boston's potent wing attack. Also, Isaiah Jackson continues to deal with a nagging hairline fracture is in his finger but it won't limit his minutes.
