Get your flu shots. Don't be like me. 'Tis the season to be jolly not violently shivering under three blankets and two dogs. Although, if there was one positive of getting sick, it's that I can pretend the Pacers never actually played in Memphis – it was all just a fever dream.

I mean 103 points? This Pacers team? I had to be hallucinating, right?

My cognitive dissonance will be put to the test tonight as the Pacers get a rematch with the Magic, who dominated defensively in the first matchup. Somehow the numbers from that game are worse than my NyQuil nightmare on Thursday.

If the Pacers want to get back on track they need to start doing what they do best: scoring the basketball.

Tyrese Haliburton is in the process of adjusting to being the entire focus of the opposition's game plan. I think we can all agree that it's better that he goes through the growing pains now, rather than during a playoff series. That being said, it sure would be nice if Santa brought us Tyrese's breakthrough against the Magic. So what if it's only the 23rd? Early bird gets the worm, Kris.

G-League Winter Showcase

The Mad Ants lost in the final of the G-League Showcase to the Westchester Knicks. Despite the loss, Walker's strong play earned him All-Showcase honors.

Hopefully we can see him tonight, as he and Ben Sheppard will be back with the big boys.
