The brutal road trip out west is mercifully over and the team is back in the comfortable confines of Gainbridge Fieldhouse to take on the Raptors.
Toronto is 5-1 over the last two weeks and playing good basketball on both ends of the court. The Pacers are... not. For the year, the Raptors have one of the most efficient offenses in the league. The Pacers... well, you know.

Some interesting context from Caitlin about the Raptors success scoring the ball is that they are relying on tough shots to generate points. Perhaps we can hope that variance plays in our favor tonight.
The undermanned Pacers, meanwhile, have the second-lowest eFG% of any team in the last 13 seasons (45.8), trailing only the 2014-15 Hornets (45.6)

Enough with the depressing on-the-court stuff. Let's talk about the depressing training room stuff.
Injuries
Cody Martin is no longer a Pacer from what I can tell. The fact that the Pacers didn't qualify for an additional 10-day means that Mathurin is expected back in 2 weeks or less.
Know @TonyREast had this earlier, but can confirm that Cody Martin's 10-day contract has expired and, per league source, the Pacers don't qualify for another hardship exception at the moment to sign him to a second. (That could change depending on the extent of Nesmith's injury.)

That tracks with what Carlisle said earlier today. Mathurin has been going through simulated game workouts so they appear to be ramping him up for a return to the court.
Rick Carlisle gives an injury update on Aaron Nesmith and Bennedict Mathurin:

Nesmith is probably out at least 4 weeks, but that doesn’t mean he couldn’t come back sooner. No tear, just a sprain.
Said Mathurin is getting close. Did a simulated game type of workout this morning… pic.twitter.com/6ssNpb4qbH
Having said that, Nemsmith is out an additional four weeks, which makes me think we will qualify for another Hardship Exception and Cody Martin could be back in the building before long. Perhaps they'll save the spot for another JRE contract when this one is up.
On the visitors side of things, we'll get to see the Raptors' rookie, Collin Murray-Boyles, which should be fun for the resident draftniks.
Darko Rajakovic says Ochai Agbaji and Jamison Battle are out. Collin Murray-Boyles is available. All three were listed as questionable coming in.
