Last week was a sprint. Two sets of back-to-backs. Both of the second legs against the rival Bucks. We saw atrocious basketball. We saw amazing basketball. We even saw a four-point-play game winner.
Now we see the come down. It's the last game of the road trip and the injury report is ugly. The only starter without a designation is Nemby.
Heading into Minneapolis to face-off with a tough Timberwolves team, the outlook is bleak. Tonight might be more of a schedule loss than the back-to-back in Milwaukee.
But then again, lord knows we've lost to our fair share of decimated rosters. We're due to be on the other end of an upset.
And an upset it would be. The Wolves are on an eight-game winning streak. Over the past two-weeks, they've been the best team in the league in net points-per-100-possessions.
Their offense has been blistering and their defense smothering. Can the bench unit redeem itself by going toe-to-toe with Anthony Edwards and his pack of rabid dogs?
Tune in to find out.
