The Indiana Pacers are riding high on a five-game winning streak, with their latest triumph being a 119-103 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday. In that game, Tyrese Haliburton showcased his playmaking prowess, recording 24 points and 11 assists, marking his 11th consecutive double-double. Obi Toppin also made a significant impact off the bench, contributing 20 points and sinking six three-pointers.
Tonight, the Pacers are set to host the Los Angeles Lakers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The Lakers are looking to snap a three-game losing streak, having recently fallen to the Orlando Magic 118-106 on Monday. Despite the recent slump, the Lakers boast formidable talent with LeBron James and Luka Doncic leading their lineup.
With 11 games remaining in the season, the final standings are staring to take shape.
(There's a chance the Pacers already have top-8 secured, but with a division winner tiebreaker involved and up to FOUR teams still in the mix for 42-40 technically, one more win or CHI loss is the safer phrasing)

The Pacers currently sit in the fourth seed in the East and I wouldn't blame you for peeking upwards. It would be a tall task to make up three games and overtake the Knicks, but if the Pacers keep winning, anything is possible.
Injuries
The Pacers are healthy. Rui Hachimura is out and LeBron James is probable.
