The Indiana Pacers are set to host the Charlotte Hornets tonight at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, aiming to build on their recent momentum. In their last outing, the Pacers showcased resilience by overcoming a 16-point deficit to edge out the Sacramento Kings 111-109.

Aaron Nesmith led the charge with 24 points, while Obi Toppin contributed 19 points and seven rebounds off the bench. Tyrese Haliburton also made a significant impact against his former team, recording 18 points and 11 assists. The winning effort helped make our spot in the playoffs official.

The Hornets, currently holding a 19-56 record, have had a challenging season but recently snapped a five-game losing streak with a 110-106 victory over the Utah Jazz. Miles Bridges was instrumental in that win, posting 26 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists.

The Pacers thrive in an up-tempo game, ranking among the league leaders in pace. Conversely, the Hornets prefer a more deliberate half-court approach. The outcome may hinge on which team can impose its style of play.

Given the Pacers' recent form and home-court advantage – and the fact that the Hornets are a few games away from summer vacation – it's not surprising that Indy is 14.5 point favorites tonight. However, we Pacers-diehards know all too well that the Hornets have had success against Indiana in recent matchups, winning the last three encounters. So bettors beware.
