The Pacers have won four in a row and seven straight at home. Despite the success, it's been hard to be particularly impressed with the basketball the Pacers have been playing over the last week.
It's not that they've been playing poorly necessarily, but every game has been strange. In the words of Tyrese Haliburton, "We seem to not be able to have normal basketball games as of late... But we’re doing a good job of just figuring it out, just figuring it out however (we) can."
One of the strangest games in the run was the last matchup with the Timberwolves, where the shorthanded Pacers out dueled their opponents in OT in a contest that can only be described as schizophrenic. Seriously, look at the lead tracker:

Strangeness aside, one thing seems back to normal: Tyrese Haliburton is playing like an All-NBA player again. Since All-Star break, he has been on an absolute tear, setting a new standard for offensive efficiency. Any free agents looking for a partner in crime should give a hard look at the Pacers, because the Haliburton effect is real.
the top two duos in the league since the All-Star break (min. 200 minutes) 😤
