The Pacers are coming off their best win of the season after beating the defending champs in OKC.
It was the type of performance I'd hoped to see more of this year. The veterans looked like contributors on a Finals team and the young guys stepped up. Jarace Walker had a signature night after earning the start. He dropped 26 points and iced the game down the stretch with clutch free throw shooting.
"In this league, that is one heck of a night."

Today, the Pacers are in the Peach State to take on the Hawks. This will be one to remember because the winter storm has pushed the game to an early tipoff.

After going on a four-game skid, the Hawks are winners of two straight. They've had a very mediocre year, sitting three games under .500. As you can see below, they do not excel in any particular facet of the game. Having said that, they've beaten the Pacers three straight times dating back to last year, so Jarace and the gang will need to stay every bit as sharp as they were in OKC.

Injuries
Big injury news today. Bennedict Mathurin is back from his thumb injury. QJ is also set to return.

Remember the Alamo
A friend of mine has just launched a substack for a serialized short story he's writing inspired by the Luka Doncic trade. It's a pulpy tale about NBA GMs with a dark past.
I think it's up the alley of everyone on here so give him a like and a follow, as the kids say.
