The Pacers may be 5-0 in January and playing their best basketball of the season, but they come into tonight as legitimate underdogs. The Cavs, well, they haven't lost five games all year. Their win streak currently sits at 11, making the Pacers' run seem cute.
The Cavs' dominance is simple. They are the best offense in the NBA and a top-10 defense.

The Cavs play a very analytics friendly style of basketball, almost totally eschewing the midrange for shots at the rim and behind the arc. Naturally, their shooters are incredibly capable as they shoot the highest percentage from three in the league.
The Pacers defense will have their hands full in both the half-court and transition. Nevertheless, this team is playing with a lot of swagger right now and I don't expect them to roll over like they may have earlier in the season. It feels like everyone knows their role and is playing it well. I wouldn't be surprised if we got a playoff atmosphere on a random Sunday in January.
Injuries
Injury report for Pacers-Cavs tomorrow is out. Aaron Nesmith still out. Tyrese Haliburton and Myles Turner no longer on the report. Ty Jerome listed as doubtful for the Cavs with an illness, which is pretty significant.
