The Pacers are back in Indy for the next four games and the homestand begins tonight against the Bulls.

The team is in an odd place right now. It feels like they have been playing better basketball. Jarace Walker and Johnny Furphy are surging. Siakam is scoring. Mathurin came back with a vengeance against the Hawks. Nembhard is putting up great numbers.

And yet, the team is 2-5 over the last two weeks. The win at OKC aside, there hasn't been much to show for the internal growth of the team in terms of wins and losses.

Hopefully this is Pacers fans getting the best of both worlds. The players leveling up without ruining our chance to draft a franchise player at the top of the draft. Nevertheless, I would like to see this group prove that they can consistently play winning basketball at some point before the summer.

Chicago, conversely, is 5-2 over the last two weeks. During that stretch the Bulls had the most efficient offense in the league, scoring almost 125 points per 100 possessions. They are one of the teams that have adopted the Pacers style of playing fast and using their young athletes to their advantage.

Tonight will be a good test for the Blue & Gold. Hopefully they can translate their improved individual play into a team win.

Injuries

Unfortunately, Jarace Walker may not get the opportunity. He's on the injury report with a bruised foot.

Tre Jones, Zach Collins, and Noah Essengue are out for Chicago.

Prediction Competition

It's time to get your picks in for the 3rd Segment. The poll will close at game time for the first game, which is on Friday Feb. 19th.
