The Indiana Pacers (49-31) are set to host the Orlando Magic (40-40) tonight at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, aiming to extend their six-game winning streak and reach the 50-win mark for the first time since the 2013-14 season. You remember that season don't you?

Tonight will be the team's last home game until... well the first game of the playoffs because last night's win against the Cleveland Cavaliers secured home court advantage in the first round. Tyrese Haliburton was once again the maestro, dropping 23 points and 10 assists, while Aaron Nesmith caught fire, hitting 5 threes en route to 22 points. It wasn’t always pretty (Cleveland was resting nearly every starter), but a win is a win – and right now, Indiana is on a roll.

Speaking of not always pretty, the Pacers have turned into a team that largely phones in the first half and flips the switch in winning time. It's an unpleasant strategy for fans – especially ones concerned about retaining any non-grey hair they have left – but it hasn't been entirely unsuccessful. As a result, the Pacers rank as one of the most clutch teams in the league.

Tonight is shaping up to be something of a strange affair. The Magic, having secured the No. 7 seed in the East and the top spot in the play-in tournament, will rest four of their five starters, while the Pacers will rest all of theirs. It will feel a bit like a pre-season game, where the main attraction is how the end-of-the-bench guys play, rather than caring about who wins.

Furphy fans, lock-in. Tonight is your Super Bowl.
