The Indiana Pacers (48–31) are riding a five-game winning streak as they prepare to host the Cleveland Cavaliers (63–16) tonight at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

In their last outing, the Pacers overcame a sluggish start to defeat the Washington Wizards 104–98. Pascal Siakam led the team with 24 points and 10 rebounds, while Tyrese Haliburton added 22 points and six assists. Myles Turner contributed 14 points, 11 rebounds, and five blocks, helping Indiana secure the win despite shooting just 25.7% from beyond the arc.

Tonight's matchup carries significant playoff implications for the Pacers. A win locks them into the 4-seed. Technically, it's possible for the Pacers to move up to the 3-seed, as they are two games behind the Knicks. However, with only three games remaining, that outcome seems unlikely.

The Cavaliers, having secured the number one seed in the East, are expected to rest several key players, including Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, Evan Mobley, and Max Strus. This provides the perfect opportunity for the Pacers to wrap up their regular season business tonight and begin resting for the playoffs. Let's hope they take advantage.
