Last game on the road of '25-'26. With a loss, the Pacers will clinch the best possible draft odds. With a win, well, nothing too drastic happens with a win. We'll have two more shots at losing either way.
Forgive me if I'm not feeling the stakes for the Tank Bowl 2026 but even Rick Carlisle is prioritizing attending a dance over showing up for it.
It's spring formal, Carlisle says, that will take him to UVA. https://t.co/cRXUfL69AI

If there's good news to talk about, it's that Tyrese Haliburton is back playing 5-on-5. I'm dreaming of those summer workout videos where the whole squad is together in Indianapolis, watching our top-3 pick getting ready for Summer League and playing pick up.
Played 5 on 5 today for first time since Juneππ½ππ½

When the game tonight starts to feel like Summer League, maybe we can all pretend we're already there.
Injuries
The real story is the injury report. The Pacers are once again sitting most of the regular rotation.
No Furphy, Haliburton, McConnell, Nembhard, Nesmith, Siakam, Zubac tomorrow in Brooklyn. Sheppard, Brown, Walker questionable.

Pascal Siakam not playing means he will not reach 65 games and won't be eligible for awards. Only Jay Huff, Jarace Walker, Ben Sheppard made it to 65.
The Nets, similarly, are sitting just about their entire roster.
Nic Claxton, Noah Clowney, Egor Demin, Terance Mann, Josh Minott, Michael Porter Jr., Dayron Sharpe, Nolan Traore, Zaire Williams, and Danny Wolf are all out for Brooklyn.
