The Pacers are playing some of their best tankball of the season. We're giving up leads, pulling players at half, doing whatever it takes to succeed at the task at hand: getting a top-4 pick in the draft.

Against the Suns, the Pacers debuted Ivica Zubac. His size and activity down low made an immediate impression and there's no reason to believe he won't be a major contributor for the team when they care about winning again.

He even had a nice two-man game with Andrew Nembhard, who lit it up with 23 points in the first half. But have no fear, we didn't let that solid play get in the way of the real goal (see above) and neither player returned after halftime. When Carlisle was asked about that decision after the game, he responded as only he could.

The coach did have nice things to say about two-way player Jalen Slawson, who saw over 30 minutes of action.

Despite our excellent tanking instincts, I fear our losing streak could be coming to an end tonight. The hate for the Knicks is strong in the Pacers' locker room and they'd love nothing more than to play spoiler yet again. If you're asking me, I think the team has earned a win against their rivals.

Injuries

Josh Hart, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Jeremy Sochan are doubtful for the Knicks tonight.
