🙏
By now, we've all seen the devastating effects of the Maui wildfires on the news. The tragedy hits close to home, both literally and figuratively, for our very own Kahonu. I'm reposting the links he shared in the other thread in case anyone wants to help.

Team USA is back and is set to take on Team Slovenia at 3:30 PM ET in Malaga, Spain today.

After drubbing a Puerto Rico team lacking any NBA talent on Monday by a score of 117-74, I was looking forward to seeing the team face off against a whopper of an NBA talent in Luka Doncic. Unfortunately, the Slovenian basketball federation announced that he will rest for precautionary reasons this afternoon. Without Doncic – and Vlatko Cancar, who tore his ACL last week – Team USA will once again face an opponent without any current NBA players.

Regardless of the opponent, it is always a joy to watch Tyrese Haliburton play basketball – a joy that his new teammates are coming to appreciate. In the last game, Haliburton lived up to his reputation as one of the world's best passers, recording 12 assists, seven points (on five shots), and four rebounds off the bench.

His running mate on the second unit, Austin Reaves sang his praise, saying "The way he plays just empowers everybody. He likes to run in transition and he gets everybody involved...[it's] something that I enjoy."

Tune in to FS1 to watch Tyrese push the pace and share the rock this afternoon. See you in the comments.
