On Saturday night, Benn Mathurin and the Pacers took home more hardware. He teamed up with Myles Turner and All-Star Starter Tyrese Haliburton to win the Skills Competition.

All the success must have had Mathurin in the clouds, because his mind was clearly elsewhere during the press conference. His confidence in answering a question he didn't hear is only matched by his confidence on the court.

Unfortunately, Haliburton couldn't win the Three Point Contest. He shot the ball well in his first round but ultimately lost in the tiebreaker.

All of that is simply prologue, because the main event is tonight, where he is sure to shine as bright as the LED court. His showmanship has been on full display thus far and I expect nothing less than the reincarnation of Magic Johnson once the whistle blows.
